Proportional valves modulate hydraulic or motion parameters
according to electronic reference signals.

Atos, a leader in pioneering electrohydraulics, offers today one
of the most advanced lines of proportional valves which allow
similar or better performances in comparison with servovalves
whilst maintaining the typical benefits of proportional electrohydraulics: less sensitivity, coarser filtration requirements, intrinsic stability, easier servicing and lower cost.

Basic principle of a proportional valve:
the force of solenoid is related to the reference
signal, thus properly moving the spool against a
return spring to modulate hydraulic parameters
Atos proportional valves are equipped by
exclusive solenoids in the following versions:

ZO-A
ZOR-A

Efficient open loop solenoids, 35 W
designed for direct-acting valves

ZO-AE
ZOR-AE

As ZO-A plus integral electronic driver
analog or digital (S)

ZO-TE
ZOR-TE

Closed loop solenoids with spool
transducer and integral electronic driver

ZO-LE

For high-performance 2-stage valves with
two tranducers and integral electronic driver
preset in double closed loop

Digital servoproportionals
New digital servoproportionals are performing in thousands advanced
applications: spool-sleeve accurated operation, closed-loop integral
electronics, high response (see diagrams) with excellent reliability...
