SP, SF, SL options add pressure or force control to the flow regulation of directional proportionals
Alternated PQ control strongly simplifies the machine architecture, by integrating in a single digital proportional the complex machine functions previously performed by multiple valves. SP, SF, SL options add pressure or force control to the flow regulation of directional proportionals.
Its flexible logic allows to modify flow/force switching criteria for each one of the 4 available dynamic configurations, in order to best suit any application, like plastic injection or cushioning control of vertical presses.

SAFETY CERTIFIED RANGE
The Machine Directive 2006/42/EC with relevant harmonized standards IEC 61508 Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and ISO 13849 Performance Level (PL) define the general principles concerning machine safety, which manufacturers have to consider to limit risk related to machine operation. Certified safety valves eliminate the need for machine manufacturers to validate such components according applicable safety standards, saving considerable amounts of time during machine design and certification phases.
On-off directionals and cartridges are certified according to ISO 13849 up to category 1, PL c for non-redundant architecture, plus specifics norms for rubber, plastic, bending and press machines. Digital proportionals are certified in compliance to IEC 61508 up to SIL 2 / SIL 3 and ISO 13849 up to category 4, PL e for redundant architecture.

ENHANCED CORROSION PROTECTION
The galvanizing plant realized inside Atos main production facility, has allowed to develop specific ECP treatment for hydraulic components, that guarantee a corrosion protection of over 200h in salt spray tests. The exclusive plant use by Atos production ensure the highest uniformity level of treatments, maintaining the entire process under control.

Explosion-proof components are engineered to safely operate in environments with potentially explosive mixtures, typical of the oil & gas, mining or chemical sectors. Flameproof Ex-d are certified according to the main international standards ATEX, IECEx, EAC, UL, MA, PESO and intrinsic safety Ex-ia according to ATEX, IECEx.
Ex-proof digital proportionals with on-board electronics extends traditional application field to the new generation installations and plants requiring fieldbus, PQ or axis control. Instead for extreme applications stainless steel Ex-d components provides the highest resistance to corrosive environments and fluids, while components with only external parts in stainless steel withstand harsh environmental condition using standard fluids.
Servoproportional valves with on-board digital driver & axis card perform position, speed and force controls of any electrohydraulic axis
The union of digital servoproportional valves & axis cards in a single device improves motion performance and simplify the automation architecture, thanks to direct connection of position/force measurement sensors. The wide range of fieldbus, traditional or industrial Ethernet based, guarantee to machine control unit direct access to transducers feedbacks, in addition to axis card parametrization and diagnostic. Axis cards are also available for off-board cabinet installations, with or without driver function, for applications do not allow on-board installations.
