Cushionings’ profiles are designed to reduce the cylinder speed before the rod contacts the mechanical stroke-end, dissipating the energy with limited pressure spikes. These hydraulic dampers also reduce mechanical shocks. The adjustable versions are equipped with cartridge valves to increase max damping energy extracted from cushionings chart in table B015 (section 7.5) or to optimize the cushioning performances in different applications.

The spacers increase the rod and piston guide to protect them from overloads and premature wear, they are recommended for strokes longer than 1000 mm in pushing working condition.
The overall dimension of the cylinder increases by a value equal to the length of the spacers.
For strokes longer than 3000 mm is recommended to contact our technical office.
Spacers are mandatory for strokes shorter than the minimum values for subplates and for mounting style “L”.
