Atos has now introduced Atos CONNECT, the new smartphone and tablet App designed for the professional
management of electrohydraulic components in industrial automation. This solution brings proportional valve
management directly to your fingertips, combining an intuitive interface with the total freedom of wireless technology.
Thanks to the Bluetooth connection ensured by the E-A-BTH adapter, the new solution eliminates laptops, cables
and cumbersome procedures. It represents a true operational paradigm shift: technicians can now access hydraulic
devices immediately with significant machine downtime reduction, thus simplifying maintenance routines.
Atos CONNECT App functionalities
The app structure reflects real operator needs, dividing functions into four main areas covering monitoring
and configurations.
Dashboard
The Dashboard page offers a summary of the driver’s information and key signals. If you have any concerns
about the meaning of these signals, simply click on the information button ℹ️ for a clear and concise explanation.
The Dashboard provides immediate access to valve command signals such as Setpoint, Demand, and Actual
values; moreover, it provides also useful information on general working parameters like Driver temperature,
Power supply voltages and Fieldbus communication status, if available. Therefore, this page enables rapid
verification of coherence between command input and hydraulic response, a crucial step during start-up and
troubleshooting.
Diagnostics
In the Diagnostic section, you can view live alarms and the history of saved ones. Active alarms are highlighted
by a colour change. The alarm history logs up to 20 entries, each with a timestamp indicating when the alarm
was triggered. A unique feature is the ability to restart the valve directly from the App, eliminating the need to
physically remove the power supply. Lastly, you can also start a new acquisition with the oscilloscope or watch
the previously saved one. All these features are precious for troubleshooting and performing targeted
interventions.
Settings
The Settings section is the core of the App, allowing you to customize valve management to suit specific
application requirements. You can switch the analog setpoint and output monitor between voltage and current,
set ramps, adjust dead-band compensation, and act on the valve’s performance using the smart tuning function.
This page also allows users to save changes to valve permanent memory, to avoid losing modifications at next
power-on or revert to factory presets with a single click, if needed.
More
The More section offers additional functionality, including the import / export of setting files. You can upload a
previously saved configuration or save your current settings to your smartphone and share it with your colleagues.
These setting files are also compatible with the laptop version of the software, ensuring seamless integration
across devices. Additionally, you can search for another valve in the system by clicking on “Disconnect & Scan.
Oscilloscope
The oscilloscope function allows the complete monitoring of the
valve signals. This function is particularly useful in commissioning
to exploit all the valve capabilities or just in case of troubleshooting.
Acquisition can be saved directly to the smartphone / tablet and
viewed later for analysis and comparison. Moreover, the saved
acquisition can be easily exported and shared with any
smartphone, tablet or PC since it is also compatible with the PC
software for Windows.

Atos CONNECT App works with the E-A-BTH Bluetooth adapter, which enables Atos products to communicate
with smartphones and tablets, but also with laptops when PC software is used.
E-A-BTH adapter can be left permanently installed on the valves to allow the Bluetooth connection at any
time, since it is an IP 66/67 device.
The adapter can be purchased either as a single item or as part of the
valve, since by specifying /T option in the model code, the adapter will be included in valve package.
